Veritone is a U.S.-based AI technology company, known for aiWARE and a wide range of AI data analytics solutions for media, broadcasting, advertising, and enterprises.
The ACI – Advertising Content Intelligence suite includes three main products:
- Attribute – real-time advertising measurement that connects broadcast data with website traffic.
- Discovery – AI-powered content analysis (transcription, logo recognition, facial/object detection) to search, verify and check ad placements.
- Analytics Center – a data visualization dashboard that allows customers to analyze reports and make decisions based on multiple complex data sources.
The Challenge
The advertising landscape has changed rapidly as audiences move from traditional broadcasting to digital platforms. ACI, originally built for radio and TV, was no longer enough to support customer needs.
Veritone needed to modernize the entire suite by expanding analysis to more media types from audio, image, video, to online data, while also dealing with fast-growing data volumes. They required:
- Faster and more interactive dashboards, even with huge datasets.
- Higher processing speed for large-scale reporting.
- Strong stability and scalability to support large media companies with millions of records per day.
These challenges created significant pressure on the existing architecture and required a complete upgrade - from UI to data pipelines, AI integrations, performance improvements and 24/7 operations.

- Data normalization to ensure unified reporting inside Attribute and Analytics Center.

- Real-time monitoring and logging to ensure 24/7 system uptime.
- Deployment support across environments (Stage → Prod).
