Before the inception of AVIA, the Private Charter market was evaluated as inefficient and wasteful regarding resources:
- Thousands of "Empty Leg" flights occurred daily without passengers, resulting in wasted fuel and operational costs for Operators.
- Customers seeking private charters often had to rely on phone calls, wait for email quotations, and sign cumbersome paper contracts. There was no centralized platform to view flight availability in real-time.

However, to operate and design this model, AVIA required a complex technical infrastructure powerful enough to process thousands of flight data points, handle geolocation, and integrate convenient payment steps—this was the most significant challenge AVIA faced during its inception.
